Install instructions
To install a VR game from Itch.io, you typically download the game's PC build or Android .apk file from the game's Itch.io page and then use a companion PC application like SideQuest or install the APK directly on your VR headset using an app like Mobile VR Station. For PCVR, you run the downloaded game files directly on your computer, often using a headset-to-PC link.
For Meta Quest (Standalone VR)
- Find and Download the APK: Go to the VR game's page on Itch.io and download the file ending with the ".apk" extension.
- Install the APK:
- Using SideQuest: Download and install SideQuest on your PC. Connect your headset via USB and use SideQuest to install the downloaded APK file onto your device.
- Using Mobile VR Station: On your Quest headset, download and install the "Mobile VR Station" app from the Meta Store. Then, use Mobile VR Station to find and install the downloaded .apk file from your headset's download folder.
